The 2026 LA Auto Show fills the Los Angeles Convention Center for 10 public days, Friday, November 20 through Sunday, November 29, with 2027 models from 23 brands spread over nearly 1 million square feet.

Fifteen of those brands put visitors behind the wheel or in the passenger seat, on an outdoor EV and hybrid course, on downtown streets and on Ford Bronco and Jeep obstacle courses. Rides and drives are included with admission.

The show began in 1907, and 2026 is its 119th year.

The day before the public arrives, Thursday, November 19, belongs to AutoMobility LA, the media and industry program where the season’s reveals and press conferences happen.

FullGood Motor, a Beijing automaker building retro-styled plug-in hybrids, plans its U.S. debut there, and Chip Foose returns with Coulson Autosports to unveil the finished build from the Coulson Aviation Wildfire Vehicle Restoration Contest. I am registered as media for AutoMobility LA.

Test Drives and Rides

Alfa Romeo, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, Jeep, Kia, Lucid, Nissan, Ram, Rivian, Subaru, Toyota and Volkswagen are listed for drives or rides. The show had not posted the specific 2027 models as of October 14.

Sign-up is on site, first come, first served, and the show tells visitors to arrive early on weekends. Drivers need a valid license and have to meet each brand’s age requirement. Passengers face minimum ages that vary by manufacturer. Everyone signs a liability waiver and gives contact details, and drivers may be asked to take a breathalyzer test.

Special Exhibits and Events

  • Road Kings of Burbank, the hot rod club, marks 75 years with vintage classics, custom builds and muscle cars in its first appearance at the show.
  • OVR Outpost, presented by OVRMag.com, is back with overlanding, off-road and camping rigs.
  • Subaru Loves Pets holds on-site pet adoptions.
  • Rivian has a special exhibit in addition to its test drives.
  • Road to Home, A Concert Benefiting PetSet, on Saturday, November 21, is the show’s first live music benefit. It raises money for Los Angeles animal welfare groups, and the artists will be announced in November.
  • The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art and Capital One Auto Navigator, the show’s car shopping and financing partner, also have displays.

Chevron Is the Presenting Sponsor

Chevron with Techron is the first energy company to present the LA Auto Show, and Chevron U.S.A. will run a Techron display on all 10 public days. Its El Segundo refinery is about a dozen miles from the convention center.

Techron is a gasoline additive in every grade Chevron sells, and the company says the version launched this summer cleans up to 100 percent of the engine deposits left by lower-quality fuels.

“Chevron operates here, they refine here, they sell here and they hire here,” said Terri Toennies, president and chief operating officer of the Los Angeles Auto Show, in the show’s October 13 announcement. Toennies called 2026 “a record year for sponsorship, both in the level of investment and the diversity of brands participating.”

Combined media and sponsorship activity is up 130% from 2025, by the show’s count.

Energy is the first of three themes the show has set for 2026, followed by autonomy and entertainment. Two figures sit behind that choice: Californians registered 1.81 million new gas, hybrid and electric vehicles in 2025, according to the California New Car Dealers Association, and the state has more than 216,000 public and shared EV charging ports, according to the California Energy Commission.

AutoMobility LA on November 19

AutoMobility LA is the media and industry day, closed to the public, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 19. As of October 8 it had 7 automaker moments, 5 partner announcements, 4 speaker sessions and 3 industry awards lined up, with the full schedule and debut list coming in early November.

FullGood Motor’s U.S. Debut

FullGood Motor, based in Beijing, builds plug-in hybrids with retro styling. At AutoMobility LA it is looking for American assembly and distribution partners and investors. Its Summer, a seven-seat people mover that pays homage to 1950s van culture, is not sold in the United States, and the show says whether it ever is depends on the partnerships FullGood forms in Los Angeles.

Chip Foose and the Coulson Wildfire Build

Coulson Autosports, the automotive division of the Coulson Group, and builder Chip Foose will unveil the finished rebuild from its wildfire vehicle restoration contest. The contest was announced at AutoMobility LA in 2025, and the reveal falls nearly two years after the Eaton and Palisades fires in January 2025.

Main Stage Sessions

  • Honda and USA Bobsled: Chris Combs, business strategy and development lead at Honda Automotive Laboratories of Ohio, and Kaysha Love, a two-time U.S. Olympian and USA Bobsled pilot, on how Honda engineers worked with bobsled and skeleton athletes before the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games.
  • Cox Automotive on the state of the industry.
  • An autonomy panel with an automaker the show has not named.
  • TikTok, in its first AutoMobility LA appearance, on automotive and social media, with a brand partner showcase.

The second RACER Creator Awards, for automotive and motorsports creators, are presented the same day. Deals and Dealmakers, a new invitation-only executive forum titled The Business of Modern Mobility, brings in leaders from media, sports, entertainment, gaming and investment.

Accredited media and content creators register free at AutoMobility LA’s registration page. Industry registration is $149 through October 15 and $249 from October 16.
