PREVIEW: 2015 Honda CR-V

Good news for sport utility vehicle enthusiasts. Honda is soon going to add a new SUV to its stable — the 2015 Honda CR-V.

The redesigned model will include exterior changes to the doors, mirrors and trim levels. The back door’s rear glass has also been considerably restyled. Head lamps have been given LED lighting and the fog lights have been placed in the lattice.

In addition, the 2015 Honda CR-V will have combination of 16-inch alloy and 17-inch steel wheels. The front fascia has been given an appearance of three chrome tubes that extend from one headlight to the other.

Lighting at the rear extends all the way from the roof to over the door, and the bumper has been designed from high-quality plastic.

All these features will be complemented by a bright color palette, making the exterior more refined and classy.

The new Honda CR-V will offers a luxurious carriage, with three rows of seats, with seven-passenger seating. Honda has always been innovative in its designs. The new Honda CR-V will have ample leg room and overall spaciousness.

Additionally, the popular Honda CR-V will offer a 7-inch touch screen with new audio control system. Honda also plans to install advanced features like six speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, iPod/USB audio connectivity, auxiliary audio jack, automatic parking, rear cross-traffic alert, power lift gate, blind spot camera and much, much more.

The classy dashboard and fixed headrests on the seats in front play will their part well by providing a premium look to the interiors. In addition, the extended window line of the SUV will add overall ambience

The 2015 Honda CR-V most likely inherit its predecessor’s 2.4 liter, four-cylinder-engine which will produce 185 horsepower and 163 pound-feet of torque. It will also be complemented with a 5-speed automatic transmission.

The new Honda CR-V is expected to launch in EX-L, EX and LX models. Prices haven’t been announced, but the anticipated base price will be around $24,500 and will increase to an anticipated to $32,000 for the premium trim.
