The Javits Center held a $27,600 Chevy Bolt and a $2.83 million Danish hypercar on the same floor this month. That tells you most of what you need to know about the 2026 New York International Auto Show.

2026 New York International Auto Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center

The show ran April 3 through 12, marking its 125th anniversary. Attendance ran 25 percent above the prior year. V8 revivals, electric SUVs, a 1,250-hp hybrid Corvette, a wheelchair-accessible electric taxi, and a 1933 Pierce-Arrow all shared space.

This guide covers every significant vehicle at the show and links to our full standalone coverage where available.

Chevrolet Bolt EV: The $27,600 Electric Car

The 2027 Chevrolet Bolt returned from a one-year hiatus as the cheapest new EV in America. The LT trim starts at $27,600 before destination. The sportier RS opens at $31,600. A 65-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery delivers 262 miles of EPA range, up from 247 miles on the previous generation. DC fast charging reaches 150 kW, restoring 10 to 80 percent in 25 minutes. The 210-hp electric motor drives the front wheels.

It is the first Chevrolet with a native NACS port for direct Supercharger access.

Nissan Z Nismo: The Manual Returns

The 2027 Nissan Z Nismo made its North American debut with a purpose-built six-speed manual transmission. The 420-hp twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 gets manual-specific engine tuning with adjusted throttle and ignition timing for sharper response. The gearbox features an upgraded clutch and shorter shift stroke. GT-R-derived two-piece iron-aluminum front brake rotors save 19 pounds of unsprung weight while improving cooling. The steering rack reduces internal friction by 20 percent.

The brake upgrade alone may justify the Nismo premium. Reference pricing from the 2026 Z Nismo is $65,750. The manual arrives this summer.

Rivian R2

Rivian displayed the R2 at the show as deliveries ramp up. The Performance Launch Package starts at $57,990 with 656 hp, 609 lb-ft, and 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. An 87.9-kWh battery provides an estimated 330 miles of EPA range. The R2 measures 185.9 inches long, two and a half feet shorter and nearly 2,000 pounds lighter than the R1S. Ground clearance is 9.6 inches. Towing capacity reaches 4,400 pounds. A Standard variant in the $45,000 range is planned but not yet available.

Toyota: Concepts and Wave Maker Blue

Toyota brought two concept vehicles. The Camry GT-S Concept is a styling study on the 2025 Camry XSE AWD Hybrid wearing a custom “Inferno Flare” finish and sculpted aero components. The 232-hp hybrid powertrain is completely stock. No production plans have been announced. The bZ Time Attack is a purpose-built electric track car based on the bZ platform, lowered six inches, widened six inches, running 305-section Continental tires on 19-inch BBS wheels with Tein coilover suspension. Both debuted at the 2025 SEMA Show.

Three TRD Pro models wore the 2026 exclusive color, Wave Maker, a light blue developed by Toyota’s CALTY design team. The 4Runner, Sequoia, and Tundra were on display. It is the 11th TRD Pro exclusive color since the program began in 2015.

Kia PV5 WAV: Electric Wheelchair-Accessible Taxi

Kia showed the PV5 WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle), an all-electric concept developed with BraunAbility, the leading WAV conversion company in North America. The idea is straightforward: build an electric van that can carry a wheelchair without an expensive aftermarket conversion. BraunAbility handled the ramp, tiedowns, and restraints. Kia built it on a dedicated PBV electric platform with a low step height.

Battery size, range, and pricing have not been disclosed.

Honda Fastport eQuad

Honda showed the Fastport eQuad, and it is not a car. It is a pedal-assist electric quadricycle designed for bike-lane last-mile delivery. Two configurations are available: a large box (89 inches long, 650-pound payload) and a small box (75 inches long, 320 pounds). Swappable Honda Mobile Power Pack batteries provide up to 23 miles of range at a top speed of 12 mph. After canceling several EV car programs, Honda’s NYIAS presence centered on micromobility through its new Fastport Fleet-as-a-Service business unit.

Lucid

Lucid displayed both the Air sedan and the Gravity SUV, which won the 2026 World Luxury Car of the Year. The Gravity was available on the show’s EV test track for ride-alongs. Lucid has announced a future midsize platform targeting vehicles under $50,000, though those models were not at the show.

Heritage: 125 Years of the Auto Show

The show’s 125th anniversary brought a heritage display spanning automotive history. A 1933 Pierce-Arrow Model 1247 with its 175-hp V-12 represented Depression-era luxury. A 1909 Cadillac Model 30 and a Ford Model T anchored the early years.

A Golden Era exhibit featured a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado, 1958 Buick Limited, and 1955 Packard Caribbean. A 1963 Corvette Split-Window Coupe and a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am closed the timeline.
