Congratulations to Jerry Seinfeld for cruising around the White House driveway with President Obama in a 1963 Corvette Stingray. It was the opening episode of the seventh season of the clever program “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee.” It only could have gone worse if the car didn’t start. Like Seinfeld’s comedy act and his longstanding television program, the mini-series on the Crackle network is about nothing except if you like vintage cars, comedians, coffee and the relationship Seinfeld has with his comedian friends. LeBron James has continued his relationship with Kia with three new advertisements. Fast & Furious 7: rare car demolition derby

The completion of Fast & Furious 7 was an homage to Paul Walker, the co-lead in the just-released action movie about cars, speed and bravado. Walker died in November 2014 in a single-car crash after only portions of the movie had been filmed. Freddie Mercury’s 1974 Rolls-Royce Sells At Auction For $118,000

More than 20 years after his death, the flamboyant legend of Freddie Mercury, the frontman for the seminal rock band Queen, endures including via his former choice of automobiles — a 1974 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. Mercury died in 1991, but his Rolls-Royce, originally purchased by the musician’s production company and hardly driven in the past two decades, sold earlier this year for 7,700 British Sterling or about $118,000. It was purchased via a telephone bid  from a Russian businessman at the Coys auction at Autosport International in the United Kingdom. Like other celebrities, Jerry Seinfeld is a car enthusiast, most notably via his collection of rare Porsches. Charlie Sheen has a new television role and apparently a renewed appreciation for charity. His restored 1966 Ford Mustang is being auctioned by the celebrity charitable outfit charitybuzz.com to raise fund for C5LA. The auction will continue through Nov. 17 Sheen restored the Mustang to complete Nascar specifications in 2006 and added his signature on the dashboard. This one-of-a-kind vehicle would cost approximately $300,000 to duplicate. If celebrities and superstars — Michael Jordan to Ralph Lauren and Eric Clapton to Nicolas Cage own Ferraris — then Kim Kardashian has to own one, too, right? According to the online site of X17, the celebrity photo agency, Kardashian recently traded in her Range Rover SUV for a white Ferrari 458 Italia. The much-revered Ferrari can accelerate from 0-60 mph in about three seconds and has a top speed of 202 mph.
