Cavnue CEO Tyler Duvall emphasizes that this increased awareness could expedite the deployment of driverless cars.

Key infrastructure includes technology poles every 200 meters, equipped with sensor pods, compute pods, and communication gear. Initially using cameras, the system might incorporate radar in the future.

These cameras feed AI and machine learning algorithms to detect and alert connected vehicles and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) about potential hazards on the road.
