Slate consolidated its lineup to a single lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) pack rated at 65 kWh (about 63 kWh usable) for an estimated 205 miles of range. The originally planned NMC standard (52.7 kWh) and extended (84.3 kWh) packs were both dropped; Slate says the LFP pack already fills the available battery space, so no longer-range option is offered. LFP chemistry typically tolerates daily charging to 100% and delivers longer cycle life than NMC, at some cost in cold-weather range and energy density.
