Alex Guberman is as passionate as anyone about the electric vehicle industry. A recent transplant from the Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area to Sacramento, California, Guberman runs E For Electric on YouTube.

Guberman, now driving his third Tesla, is prolific. He produces three videos per day for his channel. He breaks electric vehicle news. He discusses trends in the industry. And he provides strong opinions.

  1. Just a guess. Tesla does not show the adjusted mileage remaining on the front screen because it doesn’t want to explain why the car shows 180 miles instead of the 300 mikes the owner expects. A lot of people don’t understand why the range in so short, when they are running the heater full blast and it is 10 degrees outside. If the front screen shows 180 miles, the owner is going to think their battery capacity is down 40 percent and think the battery is bad. That’s when he will call and want a new battery, under warranty.
